Riverside Rowing Club is a rowing club based on the Embankment in Putney (London), on the River
Thames. The club was founded in
1987. We are the youngest club on the Putney Embankment and very competitive in all
categories.
We have a men’s and women’s Senior Squad, Junior Squad, Master's Squad and Novice Squad. All Squads
have
an allocated coach and training programme.
If you are new to rowing, we run a ‘Learn to Row’ course every September.
The club competes at multiple events throughout the year
and we always have a big celebration at the end of the season to celebrate the clubs efforts
throughout the year.
Some of the main races we participate in are: Pairs Head (October), Head of the River Race (March),
Hammersmith Regatta (May), Met Regatta (June), Henley Womens Regatta (June), Henley Royal Regatta
(July).

Our club kit is designed by Termaxx. We have RRC Club Kit for racing and training conditions. All club members are required to purchase club kit if they wish to race. To order your kit, or if you have any queries relating to kit, please contact the Kit Secretary by filling out the contact form and selecting your reason for contact as 'Kit/Merchandise'.
The 'Racing AIO' is compulsory for all racing members. You will wear this on race day to represent the club. It is a requirement of British Rowing that all club members wear the same race kit.
The Training Leggings are recommended for training sessions so you can support the club on the water when you're not racing. It is not a requirement but a must-have if you're a die-hard club member!
The Long Sleeve Top can be used for training or racing conditions. We recommend that you get the long sleeve top for winter racing.
The Short Sleeve Top can be used for training or racing conditions. We recommend that you get the short sleeve top for summer racing.
